Linda Raoul is the founder of H.E.R Heart Counseling Center. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New Jersey, an approved clinical supervisor, a certified school social worker, and speaker. She has completed her master’s degree in social work and holds a post-master’s certification in trauma treatment. Additionally, Linda has over 15 years of clinical experience in the mental health field. Linda’s experience is rich and diverse with regard to the setting and population she has served. As a seasoned therapist, Linda has provided treatment in numerous settings, including outpatient clinics, psychiatric inpatient units, crisis intervention/screening units, intensive in-home, residential placements, private practice, and school settings. She has a broad range of clinical experience working with individuals, families, and groups of all ages and backgrounds.
Linda is known for her smile and her caring demeanor. She loves connecting with people and leaves a lasting impression on those who come in contact with her. Linda is driven by compassion and empathy in her work with clients. Furthermore, Linda considers herself to be a “heart-based therapist,” as she strongly believes that if your heart is sick or broken, it will show up in every area of your life. It is her passion to encourage women and teenage girls to embrace the beauty in their journey. She specializes in helping her clients address the matters of the heart that exhibit in the form of depression, anxiety, adjustment related-stress, relationship issues, mother-daughter conflicts, inner child wounds, low self-esteem, and trauma, just to name a few. When working with a client, Linda realizes that building a relationship with the client is the most vital part of the therapeutic process. For that reason, she is intentional about providing a safe space that promotes healing and where her clients are accepted, heard, and validated. Her motto is "Wounds are meant to be healed, not concealed.”
